Sega virtua racing twin cabinet - help needed

Hi all, I recently got this machine and was hoping to get it working.

Had a mate look at it as he knows about arcade stuff
But hasn't worked on this one before. The monitors light up white
But that's about it.

One of the main boards stack lights up all lights
On the board but the second board only has 2 lights.

The boards appear in good condition, little dusty but otherwise good.

Was wondering if anyone has had issue with these and if so
What's the main issue so we can start to try an work out the issues.

Trying to fix it so can get it back to original working condition.

Any help on repairing this machine or tips would be great.

Well, The monitors lighting up is a good sign that they are working ok.
I would check the game PCB, make sure the chips are snug...

Thanks Dustin. We pulled one of the boards apart to clean it but next part will be checking all the chips. They appeared all ok and the boards are in really good condition. if you have any other suggestions let me know otherwise that will be the job over the coming week.

The first step of troubleshooting should always be to check that the power supply is good, and measure that you have the correct voltages.
When checking the voltages always do that at the game board, not at the PSU, since there could be a significant voltage drop in the wires/connectors.
