Help with Arcade monitor res
« on: November 04, 2012, 01:47:08 pm »
Hi,
I have this arcade cabinet I build a couple years ago and it was working perfect.
Now the video card (ATI 9600XT) broke, so I replaced it with a Geforce 6200, I had it laying around.
The problem is I can't get the arcade monitor output the right resolution. I'm using soft15khz and quickres but I've tried a lot of combinations and can't find the right resolution. I'm able to get a clear image at 320x240, the desktop looks huge, but when Maximus Arcade starts I get a double image. I saw that Maximus uses a minimum of 640x480. But before it was working great. So it is a card issue? I've attached some image to identify the monitor and to show the problem. Thanks. ???

Nevermind, I got a ATI 9250 and the problem is solved, I guess the Geforce 6200 wasn't compatible with soft15khz.
