Mame Matrix Marquee I submitted

Hey there,

I'm new to arcade controls, but I made my first Mame Marquee recently that was put onto the site.  So far you can get it off the news page, but later on the artwork.  I just really want to know what you guys think.  I know it's not much, but it's my first Marquee and I want to know how I did.  I'm not afraid to get bashed a little so give me some honest oppinons.  If you guys think i'm taking some steps in a good direction then I may start making many more, better of course.  Well all I can say is my thinking was in the right direction atleast heh. Thanks in advance.

I like it.

One thing that may look a bit odd is the size of the MAME marquee. Frankly it's far too small.

Imagine it on a marquee, lit up, staring from a distance. You could only barely read the logo, and the smaller text would be completely illegible.

Try making the logo, as well as the smaller text larger.

IMO - One should always try to keep the font consistent.  Again, IMO I would put the "The Mame Has You" into the same font as MAME.

Looks good either way though.

Yeah I kinda figured that afterwards, but a first shot is just that a first shot.  How about this one? (I won't change the font on the The mame has you simply because it matches the font of movie more.)

Here are 2 of the ones I did... a few others, but didn't upload them.

My 2nd choice...

The one I'm using...

And my control panel... using lit transluscent green and red buttons.
