Problem with ArcadeOS 2.5
« on: October 23, 2003, 02:12:20 pm »
Hello,

I have a problem with DMAME 0.58 and ArcadeOS 2.5.
When I am using my Ultimarc ArcadeVGA-card and the option
skip nag screens is set to YES it has no effect. The nag screen still appears. Also the Jukebox does not function in the right way.
When I am exchanging the ArcadeVGA with a ATI Rage Pro Turbo AGP-card with exactly the same settings in ArcadeOS all works well.

I would be very happy if anyone has an idea how I could solve
my problem !!!

Best regards,
Marcus

I think Arcadeos is a little glitchy,  it does the same thing to me.  Are you using it through  straight dos?

i'm not sure if this will effect your problems, but remember , if you use the arcadevga card, you want the mame settings to be standard, not arcade monitor (video settings) and if you switch to a regular card you want to put it to arcade res.

I am using pure DOS 7.0 and I have used the AVres-utility to
create the ini-files.
I dont change anything at the settings in Mame or ArcadeOS.
I only change the graphic card (and the monitor from an arcade to an VGA, but not the monitor settings) and the problem is solved !
Is there anyone out there who has running the ArcadeVGA
with ArcadeOS 2.5 and without having the nag screen ???
