Hello, I have a strange technical problem with a Makvision 29" Monitor where if the Vertical refresh is say less than 59 Hertz and the Horizontal frequency is less than 33 Khz, the picture gets warped and bends at the sides of the screen. But or some reason as long as the Hertz are near 60, I can use any Horizontal Frequency from 30-40 Khz as my monitor is capable of and the picture will be fine. It's annoying because arcade game that use lower refreshes are forced to be run in higher Khz and thus having to play the game in a smaller screen size. It's been like this since I purchased the monitor a few months ago.
At first I thought it might be a windows refresh issue but it does it in Linux too. My guess is that it is some capacitor or something that is faulty and not able to handle the timings?
