Help remembering a tv show from 90's
« on: October 24, 2012, 12:28:41 am »
Does anyone recall an "American Gladiators" rip-off show from the early 90's..?  My dad took me to a live taping of this show when I was a kid..  All I remember is it was pretty much the same thing except that all the gladiators were dressed up in some crazy battle gear..  kind of like the costumes in the movie Mad Max Thunderdome..

It's been bugging me for a while and none of my friend can remember what it was called either..  For some reason I keep thinking it was called Gladiator Warriors or something like that.  What's funny too is after the show I remember getting an autograph from one of the evil buff looking women (don't remember her name) but she signed a picture of her doing a flex-pose on a huge oversized button to wear on your shirt..  wish I knew wear that was at now lol.  But yeh if anyone could find out the name of this show or post a picture/video that would be awesome.  I'm beginning to wonder if this show even aired on tv lol

No it wasn't Battle Dome because it was early 90s..  I was in the 3rd grade so it had to be 93ish.  I'll ask around at work today and see what I find

Where was the live taping?
Was it in the same place every week or did it move around?

How about Knights and Warriors, it's around the right timeframe.

YES!!  Thank you so much!  Right when I read the title I remembered the awesome logo title for the show.  There's only one video on youtube too.  Just got done watching some of it, it was Battle Axes autograph I got..  (shudders). Now i can finally take that off my list.  Thanks Atom and guys for your help!
