LF: Help creating a MaLa intro video
« on: October 15, 2012, 12:23:45 pm »
I'm looking for someone that would be willing create me a MaLa intro video.
(I'd actually like this to be available to anyone who uses MaLa)
Sadly I don't have the means/skill set/software/know how/ability to do so myself.
What I had in mind was something like the video seen @ the start up of "Hyperspin."
Something fast, bold, bright, eye catching.
Perhaps just simply indicating Mala, perhaps Mala, MAME, and other emulators.

I've looked online and havent found a single video I like.
I'd be willing to provide a custom MaLa layout in exchange for the layout.

I think this would be great. I made a basic (like super basic- essentially still images from my cab theme in sequence) vid for my startup. Unfortunately don't have any of the 133t editing stuff like motion or after effects. Hope someone takes it on for you, MALA deserves it!
Completed projects: Pac bartop (Plug & Play), 30th Anniversary Pac cab (MAME), Point Blank (PS1), Centipede (arcade hardware- light restore), VS. Super Mario Bros (arcade hardware- light restore) Tetris Cocktail (SNES), Arcade Classics upright (60-in-1, then MAME), Multi-Raiden (arcade hardware). Pac Man vs.(Gamecube),

Working on: Pinball Re-theme, Homebrew arcade arena shooter

I agree, it would be awesome if somebody could lend a hand.
As I said I dont know how to do it.
BUT I will create a layout for anyone that helps, and if that person wants that layout to be made available to the public I'll do that.
So fingers crossed.

I think the great thing about this is it really adds to the overall MAME (gaming) experience, making it all the more polished. (In presentation anyway !)

Not much interest in this I can tell.
Not many views or responses.
I'm willing to pay for this and make it available to all.
If someone can create something let me know what it would cost ?
One minute in length, some cool music, perhaps elements from classics like
PacMan, Frogger, Q-Bert, Bad Dudes !
Lemme know

I am definitely interested, but alas I have no video editing skills

Right now I use this as my intro movie -

Might switch to this for quicker intro with a different logo -

I will be watching this  8)
