Mamewah woes..
« on: October 11, 2003, 08:38:55 am »
Hey guys, I've been running Mamewah for quite some time now on my Pentium 1.8, both through windows XP and 98 and haven't had any large problems. Now, using my new arcade PC (AMD Athlon 2000 with Windows XP) I have run into several problems getting mamewah to resize the screen correctly.

Opening Mamewah works fine, no problems, but once I load a game and quit it, the Mamewah screen is only visible on 3/4's of the screen from the top left, and you can see the windows XP desktop behind it. This sort of kills the fun of having a dedicated arcade machine when you can see the desktop...

I'm not running any custom skins, (yet) and both mamewah and my background resolutions are set to 640 by 480. I dabbled with other resolutions, and found they had the exact same result.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Bah! of course! thanks for the help

I was under the assumption that I had the latest version of mamewah after a quick look, but now I realise that the extra "2" at the end threw me.

It's always the simplest problem that causes you the most grief isn't it ;)

Thanks!
