I havent even finished my Mame cab yet and im already looking to do something with my touch screen ELO  ;D ...Anyways I understand the concept of Hyperspin of other FEs for the arcade. However ive read about simple touch FE which seems to be a front end only for the jukebox am I right?? Is there any way to have a front end that give's me access to a jukebox and your typical bar style touch screen games??

Thanks! Now do people run emulators for the games you see in the bars. Or do they buy the actual megatouch cd. What could I run for emulators on a touch screen that would work?

The TouchMaster series of games is playable in MAME.
TouchMaster8000 is about as good as it gets.

There are some ancient versions of Megatouch playable, but they're so old it's nearly all card games with super blocky graphics.

If you're looking for Photo-Hunt and other games you might have played recently, it's not going to happen with emulators.
The company that makes MegaTouch has their stuff locked down.
They even went after and shut down a factory in China that was making knock-offs for the Asian market.

Give TouchMaster 8000 a try and if it's worth it for you, go that route.

There are a few threads around here with lists of online flash games that work well with a touchscreen.
Some people have gone that route and I guess they're happy with it.

I ended up buying a Megatouch XL and have spent a small fortune keeping it working.
If your ELO monitor has a serial input, it will work with a Megatouch XL mobo & I/O board.

Yeah i dont have the funds to buy an actual Megatouch machine..this elo all in one 15 was a freebie. I guess worst case I can use it as a jukebox. I didnt realize they were that hardcore about thier software. Now ill stop asking like a noob if I can obtain it lol. I would love to have a few games even if they were cheesy but I dont wanna go the online only route mainly because I dont want to have to leave a keyboard and mouse out all the time. Id prefer it to be almost completely touch screen controlled and games hosted locally. But if thats my only option besides dropping serious cash ill go the online route.

Hi  :)

The last time i was online was August 28, 2010! so its been a while  ;D but.

Simpletouch FE is great. i built a touchscreen jukebox that ran it and was making a skin that had changable pages and could go through a jukebox and games very easily.

If i would have completed it it would be perfect for the project and what you want i believe.

Games to look out for are popcap games http://www.popcap.com/ you can download them for the machine as well as the online versions.
