25" Wei-Ya Universal Replacement Chassis Review
« on: September 30, 2012, 12:15:24 am »
Hey guys. Looking to get some feedback on a video I made reviewing the aforementioned chassis. I tried to explain everything as best as I could and am interested in if you guys think it's a decent review or not. Don't worry about hurting my feelings or anything. Looking for brutal honesty. That's how I improve.

Thanks!

Current collection - 28 cabs, 4 pins. (32 machines and not enough room)

I think it was a very good review. Is there a way you can better go over how to set it up as I have one that I want to put on my 25" polo but would like to know where exactly all the wiring hooks up too. This is my first time digging into monitors besides basic soldering and cap kits. A video would be GREAT, thanks Mike

Thanks for your review on you tube. I have some questions to I bought one too. I had a 25 inch zenith tube with WG K7000 series chassis. The wires coming off the yoke Red, Blue, Brown and Yellow. The Wei-Ya chassis has Red, Blue, Yellow and Green. Does anyone know how the wires should be spliced together thanks for your time.

Thanks for the review. I now have one for my hantarex polo in my neo geo cab. I don't know if anybody else have this problem but I just can't adjust horizontal frequency. The image is very unstable and it's extremely hard to adjust it, a very slight movement of the knob makes a huge change. But I thought the IC chip would help have a more stable image... anyways.

So adjusting the width, height and vert. and hor. position is very hard because they all interact with each other. And the hor. and vert. freq affects them too. It's a mess... Other then that the picture is very bright and colorful (when it works).

Let me know if your stuggling with the stability.
