Well like the title says im wondering what the price difference would be to build your own CP vs buying one from X gaming ?? I dont need anything crazy just a 2 player setup.

Cheaper to do it yourself so long as you have the power tools.  You can snag an X-Arcade Duo around $100 shipped at Christmas time.

If you're planning on using it with consoles, I can't suggest the X-Arcade enough.

Access to every power tool you can imagine. So you think you can piece together a kit for under 100 bucks... The only thing I would like would be light up buttons. I'm pretty lost on which board I should be looking at honestly but I know I'd rather have usb instead of ps2 connections.
