Hyperspin, sound and mame

I'm not sure what the problem is but when I play a Rom in Mame under hyperspin, then exit using Esc it makes a constant sound coming from the speakers, if I play another game and exit the sound gets louder.  I have tried this on two PC's now, any ideas?

That's a weird one. You'll probably have better success asking over at the HS forums. I've never heard of that problem before.

use Alt+tab to see if the exit was completed, your mame emu might still be running in the background and thats why you are getting the extra sound.
