RIP Tony Scott

One of my favorite directors has passed away.

Loved all his films.

Not sure why he jumped into the danger zone but I am sure he now regrets  doing it.

Thanks Tony for the movies.  :(
If I had only one wish, it would be for three more wishes.

Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!

I just watched True Romance last night for about the millionth time and had no clue of his passing.

He was in the top tier of great action directors.

Anyone bitching about the RIP thread can ---fudgesicle--- right off.

Oh, wait, just found out he offed himself. Go ahead.

R.I.P. Tony Scott!

Sorry if this is a threadjack, didn't want to start another RIP thread. It looks like Phyllis Diller also died today...although I know her work, the only thing that is stuck in my mind right now is when she made a guest appearance on Scooby Doo.

His collaborations with Denzel Washington were great.  Even his cheesy movies (Top Gun, Days of Thunder, Last Boyscout) were awesome in their own way.  The first obit I read early this morning talked almost as much about his brother than him.  That's unfortunate.

I have read similar obits. it was lame that they were trying to prop him up on his brother's merits when he has more than enough of his own.

Top Gun was cheesy?

It wasn't in 1986.  It is now.  Still a good movie but for different reasons.

Nope still won.
Also, says the guy who types his reply without spacing in all caps. ;)

Bad grammar doesn't change the fact that liking  Top Gun a little too much means you are probably into men.

Or possibly, sexually aroused by airplanes. Not that there is anything wrong with that.
