Sweet Japanese Style Nintendo Character Art
« on: August 01, 2012, 11:54:11 pm »
I think some of you guys might appreciate the artwork that Jed Henry is producing. Basically, he illustrates classic Nintendo characters in a Japanese ukiyo-e style.

He has opened a kickstarter (Ukiyo-e Heroes) , and he is offering digital prints starting at $40.

I especially like his Metroid and Starfox illustrations. Honestly, I am severely tempted to drop $70 on two of them.

Our living room contains equal parts Japanese art and game / movie art. These would work perfectly in there.
