Need help finding an electrical part...........
« on: August 01, 2012, 12:15:20 pm »
I have a rotating display like the one pictured here:

I am trying to find a way to put a light on top that will spin without twisting the cord.  I know such a part exists that keeps the electricity in constant contact as it rotates.  Any links or suggestions?

A car steering column with a horn in the middle of the steering wheel will have what you want. Don't know how easy it would be to modify for your needs though  :-\

Thanks guys!  I did figure out it's called a slip ring.  I'm trying to power one of those hockey puck lights.  110v.  The only electrical one I found was $75!
