Anyone have a BattleZone Cabaret CPO scan or images?
« on: October 06, 2003, 12:17:24 pm »
Hi folks....

Well, I got it in my head to build a mock of the BattleZone Cabaret cabinets.  Mock I say because it will be the same size, but with an old PC running BattleZone and most likely non original joys and/or artwork.  I want it to look close to what the real thing did, but it doesn't need to be a duplicate of the real thing, sinces it's not!

Anyway, I'm currently looking for the images of the "moves" graphic from the CPO, plus anything else BattleZone (classic) related.  If anyone has this and would like to contribute, that would be great.  I know I can buy a full size repro for about $25, but I'm trying to do this on a budget and I want to try to do the CPO and bezel creation myself.

Any help or links or points in the right direction appreciated....

Thanks!

These should be enough to get you started on construction (units in inches, should be accurate to at least ⅛ inch). Looking over the numbers again I'm not sure about the 39" and 40" units. I think the 39" might be the inside dimension and 40" is to show an approximate 1 inch rise in the angle. So these units might be slightly more.
I have additional measurements of the back opening.
I have some detail images of the control panel and marquee but a little blurry.

.
It doesn't matter if you win or lose....it's how you play the videogame.

Here's the control panel perspective corrected and a couple of details:
