Electronic Games Magazine Scans?
« on: July 24, 2012, 01:16:22 am »
Anyone know of a source where I can find scans of Electronic Games magazine or similar video game magazines from the 80's?

In .CBZ format to display on an Ipad would be awesome too.

Thanks for any help

You might try checking out www.scribd.com.

I'm not sure about the .CBZ format, though. I believe the site has mostly PDFs.

I have some old Atari user magazines from the late 80's. Some PC world ones too. Happy to scan some pages for you.... Looking for anything specific.?

If its for the games in the back, don't bother, you'll go blind typing all the DATA statements in  :laugh2:

I have pretty much all of the COMPUTE!'s Gazette magazines for Commodore 64/128, complete with hexadecimal/Basic code for those sweet, hand-typed games!

Thanks guys.

I'm amazed! Not only does Digital Press allow you to download every video game publication PDF in their library, they actually encourage you to do it!

Quote from: Digital Press
Note: Some of the following magazines are in Adobe Acrobat (PDF) format, which makes them perfect for punching, printing,
and adding to a custom collecting binder. If you need the utility to view these, click the above button to get it.
We suggest right-clicking and saving these files as most of them are very large.
