Arcade and Game Room Artist For Hire
« on: July 17, 2012, 03:05:04 am »
Hey Everybody

Well I've decided to throw my hat back into the ring once more to offer my services as an artist for hire.  Whether it's for your cabinet or something to put on the wall or cover it completely I can help you out.  I've been doing Illustration and Graphic Design for about 12 years now and I've see all kinds of projects.  I have also been working with Brent over at EMDKAY for a while now doing all kinds of cabinet art.  In addition to print I have also worked extensively in video and 3d as well for anyone considering a custom designed intro video or interface for that cabinet.

How Does This Work?
I normally approach each project with a thorough discussion usually over Skype so I can get a complete feel for the project and then provide an estimate.  Once approved I begin work and report regularly for approval to make sure it's exactly what you're looking for and that there aren't any surprises.  When it's done I provide you and the printer with the necessary files and you're on your way to having something you'll want to show off.

The Details
- Every project is an individual and won't be shared.  I want my clients to have a one of a kind and you will be the only one (besides me) that will have a copy of the originals.  Any use of a project for my own promotions will be small and unusable for anyone else.
- I for the most part do this as a side job and as such, it won't be completed in a week.  However, it will be completed and it will be cool.  I have never bailed on a project and don't plan to.
- Pricing is on a project by project basis simply because the devil is in the details.  I will give you a breakdown of your project and tell you what to expect to pay and why.  My estimates are very fair.
- The only thing I tend to shy away from are photo realistic renders and paintings, but there's no harm in asking.

Talk is cheap.  Have a look at some of my work below and hopefully you'll like what you see.

I'm building my first arcade cabinet and have a few quick questions :)

How much do you charge for a full set of bartop arcade artwork? Something along the lines of the warp zone project below :)

Also, where in the UK could i get these printed? Google is confusing/useless!

Thanks in advance :)
