City Connection isn't right. Wg k4900

No mame here, this is all real vintage hardware.

Ok, this cabinet was running Video Trivia and had a perfect picture. I pulled out the video trivia, installed a JAMMA harness, my City Connection to JAMMA adaptor and City Connection and I just can't get the screen adjusted right. The screen will lose sync when i almost get the horizontal position right.

I tried a Cabal board in it and it did the same thing. The City Connection board + adaptor works fine in my Die Hard cabinet.

The monitor is a WGk4900. No I have not installed a cap kit yet.

Wild cards.

I have the monitor installed upside down because City Connection outputs the video upside down (and the dip switch that is supposed to flip that does nothing).

The Trivia was hooked up with the 6 pin separate sync setup, while I am using the normal Jamma RGB ground +sync. Maybe I did that wrong? I just tied the two syncs together. Should I be hooking up the sync to that separate 3 pin input after the 6 pin one?

Acceptance of Zen philosophy is marred slightly by the nagging thought that if all things are interconnected, then all things must be in some way involved with Pauly Shore.

Aaaaand fixed.

Posting the solution to help future searches.

The sync should have been hooked up to the second pin on the 3 pin connector.

you could just reverse the yellow/brown wires on the yoke to flip the image right side up instead of turning the whole monitor around.  :dunno
