My first Cocktail
« on: May 02, 2012, 02:59:14 pm »
This was my first real build, I built a terrible stand up about 4 years ago.... but i pretend that did not happen.
Got a bunch of stuff from GGG, used laminated particle board.. big mistake! next time will be MDF
Running off a 23" lcd, and a crappy 6 year old compaq laptop!
Original idea based off of a ms pacman machine, just a little more narrow.

Removed some of the black t-molding and put on green and yellow, thinking about going with a Green Bay Packers theme
Also got some cool adjustable stools from ikea for $20 each
Not my best build, but i learned A LOT!
Next i will be installing a coing door!

Looks good!

I also built a terrible stand up some years back,  it was a lot of trial and error back then.   The game looked like crap, but converted nicely into a rolling cabinet for my garage.  hahaha

I like the color scheme!  I looks like your control panel is going to fall off.  Also, how do you keep the glass from falling off?  And are you going to put a bottom on the control panel?

the part that looks like its falling off is just poor craftsmanship :( I'm working on improving the wood working skills! I am looking for something to cover the cabling probably some metal fabrication. As for the glass I am going to have a friend fabricate nice clips, paying $30+ shipping for original cocktail clips is kind of crazy to me :(
