Help converting a pachisclo slot machine
« on: April 02, 2012, 02:12:44 pm »
I have a friend that has a pachinco slot machine "Bingo" plays nice and works fine, he just wants to convert the machine from tokens to quarters, i found an online manual but its not for this type as this one does not have a coin mech as the ones i see in the pictures, so i was wondering if someone can help. Thanks in advance for any help.

uhm, your going to either have to post a model number or some photos cause we have no idea what you are looking at.

it likely has some kind of size and weight mech in it, and unless whatever you plan on using as a replacement (quarters) is close to the original coin/token size and weight you aren't going to be able to adjust it enough to get it to work with your quarters (I'm assuming)

i'm thinking (unless the mech is specifically made for the token) it should have some screws or shims or something you can adjust to make it accept something different.  :dunno

The forum for these machines is www.pachitalk.com

Be aware though that in converting a machine from tokens to actual quarters may turn a "permitted" machine into an illegal gambling device in some states. Here in Washington state, ALL pachislo machines are illegal to possess/operate.
