Please help me identify this cocktail cabinet!
« on: March 27, 2012, 09:16:39 pm »
I purchased an empty cocktail cabinet at a yard sale for $35, but I have no idea what this machine was originally!

The cabinet itself is in pretty nice shape, but has no monitor.  There is a PCB inside, but there is no clue as to what it may be.  The controls are pretty simple, with only two movement buttons, a fire button, and an extra unknown button.  Space Invaders perhaps?

There are a few pictures attached...

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Thanks

Im not an expert but the cab itself looks generic, and judging by the cut for the coindoor it looks home made. As for the pcb, the picture looks blurry, but you can always tell wich game is with the letter on the roms, but i could not read those letters.

Thank you for the reply!

I have attached a high-res pic of the PCB to this message, along with that info typed out below.

There are no other markings anywhere inside of the cabinet, no stickers, nada.

The stickers on the different banks of chips on the PCB are as follows:

Bank 1:

M1U4F     M2V4F
M3U5F     M4V5AF
EMPTY     M6V4F
M7V4F     M8V4F

Bank 2:

BM1V2    GM1V2    RM1V2
BM2V1    GM2V1    RM2V1

There is also one lone chip with the label:

VMS
  E

The only other thing of note on the board is a DIP swith with 8 different switches...

Hopefully that will be of some help.

Thanks again!

Thank you SO much abispac!

I've never heard of Space Force before now, but I think I will try to get the machine up and running soon to see what it's like.

Mystery solved  ;D
