Connecting monitor to AC mains
« on: March 16, 2012, 06:48:00 am »
I have a jamma arcade cabinet with a Hantarex Polo 25".  I've purchased a j-pac and will be removing the mv1b I have connected to use a pc through the j-pac.  From what I have been reading, I will have to disconnect and remove the power supply since now it is not needed for the pcb.

However to do this I will have to connect my monitor to the AC mains.  I am absolutely new at this, and I do not want to fry myself or the arcade monitor trying to do it.  Anyone can guide me through what I need to do to connect the monitor to the mains? (Im in Europe - my online searches seem to indicate the Polo does not need an isolating transformer).
