TV issues....using x1800xl ati
« on: March 12, 2012, 04:04:33 am »
So I have got my TV in my cab, hooked it all up and everything ran fine. Then the next time I turned it on the TV screen was all scrolly and such. I then hooked a LCD to the video card to trouble shoot, rebooted and everything was fine but mame ran everything at 50% speed. So I dissconnected the LCD, rebooted and everything was fine, until the PC had an issue and then the TV went all screwy. Again. Now I can't even get anything to show on the LCD after boot screen. It just goe sinto sleep mode but the TV is still wavy as all heck.so at this point it looks like I have to reinstall windows. I was using W7 64bit, Ati x1800xl all in wonder, tried both component and svideo.Same symptoms on both. I think its a resolution,or refresh issue. Any one have any ideas? I may try 64bit xp as the w7 drivers are legacy, and no support for such an old card. Other than that, svideo looked great! Tv is a toshiba 27a33. Noob at this!
