clrmamepro leaving old files.
« on: March 09, 2012, 05:21:27 am »
so i spent some time updating my Roms from 143 to 145 but i noticed that it keeps prompting me to rename incorrectly named files. but when i check the set it is talking bout both the right named and wrong named files are in the zip file. I cant seem to get clrmamepro to realize those are unneeded files since they should get renamed or removed.
My Gf made me put a sig up. /whipped

Caveat:  It's been a while since I used clrmamepro.

Isn't there an option/tick box to remove unneeded files?  Make sure that's selected.  If you have done that and it's still not working, I'm not sure what it is.   :dunno

if you can't figure it out, goto the clrmame fourm on CLRMAME website.  Roman is EXCELLENT on responding to user problems.

145 changed the listxml format a bit.... auto-generated dats seem to have problems on both clrmamepro and romcenter.  Romcenter, thus far is doing the best job... it just gives errors on the games with samples atm.
