Original Arcade jamma pcb and Mame machine combined
« on: March 06, 2012, 11:31:42 pm »
Hello all! Not sure if this is the right place but here goes. I have completed my mame project and now I want to add original jamma pcbs in the cabinet. Why you ask? Well I want the original Blitz games with the hard drives to play the original games. Here is the question. Any suggestions on what hardware I would need for a switch that switches between the two i.e. mame and blitz pcbs? I will be using the power from the computer that runs the mame. and the ipac for the controllers. Is this feasable or should I just run them independantly. Thats what I am leaning tward. Thanks in advance! Love the forum!

blitz used 49-way joysticks plugged directly into the blitz PCB... jamma harness only handled the buttons.

you would have to add 2 more joysticks to your control panel (or build another panel and switch them out.

maybe just get yourself a stand alone blitz cab?? who says more games aren't better?
