Anyone done any side artwork for a Marvel Vs Capcom machine?  I would love to get ahold of something and get it printed.  Thanks for the info ( I am searching the boards right now btw).

...which mvc?

there are 3 versions. but no "dedicated" sideart for any of them. you kinda have to put something together. you can use mvc3 stock pictures. google is your friend

My art is always free for you to download and modify as you see fit...
Why?... because I could never find any art I loved on the net. So I played around with Photoshop and wish to share it with the arcade community.

So do you think I should just open up photoshop and drop a bunch of pics in there and work on it like that?

I was hoping to get a cool MVC2 side art... but dont think its going to happen lol.

P.S.  What should I print these images on?

Also, if I do a bezel... how should i attach it to my happ bezel?  If I print on sticky paper it will pretty much never come off lol.

Pretty much - art work is one of the hardest components of an arcade build to get right. My suggestion is find someone's that you like and try to achieve that or similar, you may even get ideas from multiple projects to accomplish your desired effect.

if you get something worth while art wise  - I advise getting it printed by gameongraphix.com or basement arcade graphics here. Otherwise it will always look like an inkjet sticker.
I've never had a happ bezel but I'm assuming you will want to put the bezel art under neath the glass or plexy that covers the happ bezel.

I wanted to make it one big sticker that is the entire side of the cab, but 100% sure I cant get that done myself and I really dont want to spend $250 on the graphic.

Well at the moment I have the happ bezel then a computer LCD right behind it.  I cant really decide if I even want to put a plexi glass there.  If I decide to put the plexi, should I put it behind the bezel (between the LCD and the bezel) or in front of the bezel?  If I put it in front how do I attach it to the bezel...

The plexi is like the icing on the cake - you can do with out it but it will look a little unfinished.
It must go LCD -> bezel -> plexi

The plexi helps for all sorts of reasons -> firstly it looks good with clean lines, it proects your LCD from fingers touching it and any other objects that shouldn't, it is easily wipable for when you sneeze on it playing a game
So if you were to put bezel art on your machine it would go
LCD -> bezel ->artwork ->plexi
The artwork is sandwiched between the bezel and plexi (double sided tape can be use to hold it fast)

Now this is all providing your bezel is actually a LCD happ and is flat and not a CRT bezel that wraps around the curvy monitor.
Send in a picture if needed.

you should skip bezel. just panel/marquee and maybe sideart is good enough.

still not sure how to attach the plexi (Other than velcro/double sided tap.

take a quick look through some of the project here - lots of them have different ways of attaching the plexi. You've got to be a little imaginative here as your project may not be the same as others.
On the most part the plexi is held at the top by slipping it under the speaker shelf (between the speaker shelf and the bezel) and held at the bottom by some form of a holding bracket (made of wood or metal brackets) near the underside of the control panel.

at a guess an average piece of plexi to cover the monitor will be around 60cm wide and around 70cm high - but than can vary give or take 20cm  ::)
