Klipsch...fantastic customer service story

This is just so amazing I have to share it:

About 15 months or so ago I got a set of Klipsch Promedia 5.1 speakers.  These are fantastic PC speakers.  THX certified and all that rot.

Well, about a month ago they started cutting out and making a rhythmic clicking sound.  I contacted Klipsch who informed me that a transistor in the subwoofer had gone out.  It is a problem they have had that has since been fixed.  They sent me a label to pay for the shipping to have the subwoofer shipped back for repair.

Get a load of this:  Two weeks later the box finally arrives.  There is, indeed, a new subwoofer in the box...along with a brand new set of Promedia 5.1's.  All I sent them was the subwoofer and they gave me a brand new set of speakers...but that's not the best part.  They sent me a brand new set of Promedia Ultra 5.1's -- the successor to the original Promedia 5.1's.   People, these speakers have not even been released yet.  They were scheduled to be released in late Sept., but even now if you go to their website you cannot purchase them, but can only get on a waiting list.  I am so stoked!  It's a $400 or $500 set.  And I still have my old 5.1's minus a subwoofer which I could probably replace for $100 or $150 or something.

I'll tell you what...Klipsch has a customer for life.  Baring some extremely bad experience in the future I will always go with Klipsch products.  These speakers sound amazing.  They are probably the best PC 5.1 speakers on the market right now.

So many companies don't pay enough attention to customer service, when stuff like this does make a difference.  Good show to Klipsch.
