Centipede cabaret lost it's "red" color

Howdy guys, I have a beloved centipede cab and today after some gaming it lost it's red color.

If l have the machine on and reach back there and "move" things around the color comes back, but as soon as the machine is bumped (or moved back into position) it goes back out. Also tapping on the side of the machine with a rubber mallet makes the red color come back for a split second.

Any ideas on what l could do to get this thing working again?

Hi,

I have a similar problem. I have a Wells Gardner D9800 Multisync CRT monitor which I purchased for X-Arcade some 3 years ago while building my first arcade cabinet. Inexplicably about a month ago there was a noticeable "blue shift" and reds looked brown, and all colors were thrown off. I tried all the settings and even returned to factory settings to no avail. Having seen the same effect on monitors with loose cables I assumed that the cable had become damaged. I bought a new cable and the effect was not diminished. Any ideas what could be the problem? I'm currently using an ArcadeVGA graphics card and all drivers appear to be functioning properly. I'm not very knowledgeable with arcade monitors in general, and would very much appreciate any insight as replacing it is prohibitively expensive right now.  Thanks in advance for any help!

could be a leaky transistor on the neck card,i would suggest removing graphic card and run direct from mobo and go to bios to see if the problem lies with settings/card or monitor
