Flat Screen TV?

Walmart has 2 flat screen TVs for a reasonable price:
An emerson 27" for $244
http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.gsp?product_id=2123650&cat=91099&type=19&dept=3944&path=0:3944:3987:3996:91099
And a Sanyo 27" for $299.
BOTH have s video. Unknown if either keeps it's S-video setting after powering off. The Emerson has what LOOKS like a remote IR sensor for the remote control. (Therefore, no drilling holes in the front of the cabinet)
-IS THERE A REASON TO STICK WITH A REGULAR DOMED TV SET?
