Tempest Problem
« on: September 24, 2003, 11:37:51 am »
HI,
I am using Pure DOS and DMAME with Advmenu front end.
When I select tempest from Advance menu, I get an error saying I don't have a VESA card or my video card does not support the required resolution.
When I run mame through the command line
d:\mame tempest -800x600, it works fine for me.
How do I setup advancemane to pass the required parameter so when it launches mame with tempest it uses the resolution parameter.
So is there any way I can configure mame to launch at a particular resolution whenever I launch tempest. ?

Thanks
-vishwa

In the Windows build, you can set the resolution in the MAME.ini file.  Not sure about the DOS build, but it's worth a look.
