I finally had time to get to play with this and I have had some interesting things happen. First off, when the DVI connection to a VGA is made, the 15K signal does not always load, this is really only an issue in testing and config, as of course there will eventually be no vga monitor at all. The second thing is a bit preplexing. My arcade monitor a WG7000 series 25" made in 2003 I think will only accept 3 of the quickres resolution choices. 256x256, 256x260 and 321x256 that's it. My monitor tears the video just like the above picture at any other resolution choose, even lower. This is odd, since I have run World Class Bowling Deluxe and Shuffleshot on real PCB's with no issues at all and those games are now "too wide" at the one to one pixel configuration. This makes it tough to make choices about vertical games, since I am forced to hardware stretching to get the entire screen to show sometimes. Other games like Reactor and Crystal Castles look prefect though. Thing is, my fav games like Millipede and Shuffleshot are a bit compromised right now. Millipede is either blurry with hardware stretch or "too wide" when one to one pixel ratio and Shuffleshot is a bit too wide but the picture is crystal clear.
