M.A.M.E Resolution Tool. Some key options grayed out
« on: January 17, 2012, 10:34:19 pm »
M.A.M.E Resolution Tool 3.2 seems to run fine on my vista 32 the only thing is key funtions such as "Generate INI file(s)"  and "Settings when Ideal Mode Not Found" are in grey and can not be clicked.

I have added my available res modes,
Set mame executabe location and,
I Set the mame INI path.  (altho when I go back to confirm the ini paths location it goes back to the main dirtory of the drive as if I had never set it in the first place).

So I have no idea why "Generate INI file(s)" is grayed out??

I just can't seem to generate my Native Mode List on the left.  I followed the instructions below but nothing comes up.

"Mame has not returned any games (most likely to happen if your List Generation Method is incorrect). Check that a list of modes are in the left pane, and games in the centre pane. If you don't have these, you need to click View > Generate Native Mode List. Of course you also need to have your Mame Executable location set as well."

Does any one know what may cause this? My version of windows (vista), version of mame (regular mame64 .144)? Or am I just missing something here?
