GameEx and AAE
« on: January 13, 2012, 12:43:36 pm »
Anyone have experience getting AAE to run within GameEx?  I can get the vector games to show up in the menu system but can't seem to get AAE to launch properly.  I posted the question on the GameEx forums and never heard anything.  Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Think I figured it out.  Been running through the gameex log files and it looks like a path issue.  I will follow up.......

Nope, that wasn't it.  When I launch through GameEx I get a black screen but the game does launch (Can hear it running).  If you check running apps in Windows it shows that AAE is running.  You can hit ESC and it brings you back to GameEx.  Checked GameEx log files and it is launching AAE.  Checked AAE and it is launching the game without errors.  AAE logs show normal shutdown when you hit ESC too.  Running AAE alone works fine.

Attached the ini files for both.
