Whats the current video format supported in mala?

I'm trying to convert a wmv file to avi but it doesn't seem to play in mala (older version before the animated gifs).

I'm just trying to get it in the same format that is used by emumovies. It looks like it's mp4 320x240 but it wont play.

I figured it out, it's xvid. I saw some old posts saying it was xvid but I figured that so much time has passed that maybe things have changed.

Are you using the latest Mala?

The newest version uses an updated Video engine that's supposed to support more formats.

No, only because I like my current setup and don't have time to fix it if something goes wrong (although I now need to redo my layout-resolution change).
