Good classical Christmas online radio station
« on: December 16, 2011, 05:38:35 pm »
Anyone have any suggestions for an online radio station that focuses on classical style Christmas music?  I also love choirs in the songs as well.

I hate 80s and 90s type stations playing Christmas music.  They act like pop song stations, in that they repeat the same tired songs over and over, and many of them aren't even good.  But I loves me a gooooood orchestra.

Pandora has several decent holiday "stations" defined.

I've been digging the "Swingin' Christmas Radio" station, but there a several that are decent.

Then there's a "Pop Christmas" station that you'd probably like as much as I did. Ugh.

I think that's the one you are talking about... no need for pandora.

I loves me some Sinatra.  :D

On XM/Sirius they're doing a Bing Crosby channel where Regis Filburn is hosting.

I've just ended up with WGUC, which is a classical station here in Cincy.  It's playing a mix of Christmas in with their normal fare.  Good enough!
