9" CPOs for my Cocktail project

Lo-res versions of the CP overlays I've mocked up.

The project thread.

I like the simplicity, it definitely compliments the look of the cab you appear to be going for.

Only a couple of things bother me:

#1 - The proximity of the word "MOVE" to the down-directional arrow, almost touching... because of this it looks like it was just stuck on. Do you really need the word there at all? If so, what if you moved the word to the opposite "corner" of the "Player #" text?

#2 - The alignment of the "big yellow balls" in the corners, relative to the lines of smaller balls... on the top row they appear to be shifted down so that the top of the larger balls falls several pixels below the row top, and on the bottom row they appear to fall below the row bottom.

You didn't really ask for feedback so I hope I'm not out of line posting my opinions...

Thanks, comments, criticism, etc, are exactly what I am looking for.

As for those comments, both of those are they way they were because that's the way it is in the originals I have. But this is a chance to improve on the originals!

What about these?
Note that the large yellow circle are so that a border will show around red (likely) push-buttons.

Much improved IMHO. The other thing I noticed is the background is a medium-dark gray instead of black, is this also original or to match the color scheme of your cab? For me this color looks "milky" and a much darker shade makes the colors pop more, but I suppose you could be setting this higher for the particular printer/output device you'll be using (although the RGB values seem kinda high to me for that...)

Also, now that I look more closely, the difference in the font from "Player #" to "Move" is distracting to me...are these two different fonts or are you transforming one or the other text objects to achieve the different looks? (Notice the difference in the "E", the only letter the two words have in common). I prefer the look/spacing of the "Player #" as the way "Move" is displayed seems to be too big/overpowering, especially with the "wide" letters "O" and "V"... again, maybe the original was that way too though, I don't know...

Sorry to sound so anal-retentive about this stuff, they're all just minor things really...

I hadn't noticed the background. You're quite right about the grey.

The fonts, and the size of Player #, and MOVE are exactly as the original, I'd like to keep them, so the panel looks like it could have been stock.

Thanks for the feedback.
