The ArcadeVGA card has 15khz output only. So people using the 9200 aren't using their monitor to their full potential if they have an ArcadeVGA!
This is WRONG... and not TRUE.
If people are using the ArcadeVGA card with the 9200 they ARE using their monitor to it's fullest potential.
There is a utility to have the AVGA NOT to use interlaced modes for the SVGA modes for people with 9200's and the like.
So the beauty there would be that the 9200 would display all the classics in it's native resolution at 15khz, but still could display windows/pc games/vector mame games in sharper regular SVGA 30khz modes. gabish?!
With that correction noted... let me go back and see what the o.p. wanted...
-> what was your other question again? You can use Area51 on 15khz... The light gun issue is kinda sketchy ... I've heard*some* people have gotten the PC version of the guns to work with arcade VGA... but i haven't heard (or done it myself) definitavely if that's the case... so take that with a big grain of salt as it may be b.s.
When you buy your ArcadeVGA card get the breakout cable (or does it come with it?) and you basically hook up to the monitors RGB, -H sync , -V sync (or composite negative sync), and ground wires... and tada! (well there's probably a little more to it, but that's the basic idea)
Could you clarify what it is you want to know again?
