I picked up a midway cabinet with a Peter Chou UP-150PST. I don't know if it has an isolating transformer in the bottom of it or not. If it does, I suspect  it may be wired incorrectly as suggested in this post:

At any rate, I am going to swap in a WG 25K7191 that requires an isolating transformer.  I have mounted the transformer that came in the WG's donor machine and gave it power from the connector that originally went to the old monitor. I suspect that the power may be running through 2 isolating transformers. Is there any problem with this?

On another note, when I connected the old monitor power harness to the new monitor I reversed the A/C polarity of the power going to the isolating transformer. Could this rookie mistake have damaged the monitor or caused an safety issue?

no to your first question

and just reverse the wire's back to normal
should be no real problem,as non smps unit's
do not really care about phase
ie white to black black to white
as long as the ground stay's green to green
but rule of thumb is black to black white to white
that way it is no longer a rookie mistake

Once the power goes through the isolation transformer, hot and neutral don't really have any meaning anymore.  The monitors all just dump 'em into a bridge rectifier, anyway, so they don't care.
