« on: November 12, 2011, 09:34:18 am »
Hey guys,
I love this awesome old game as l'm sure many of you do as well; but something l don't get is... how the heck does grappling work?

How do you win a grapple in this game?

  • Yeah, owning a MAME cab only leads to owning real ones. MAME just isn't good enough. It's a gateway drug.

Well it works like every wrestling game since the beginning of time. ;)

Some of the more modern wrestling games excluded of course.

and after winning 2 or 3 the computer pretty much auto wins a few, you can beat the whole game by stepping back and punching.

Yeah.

I think Wrestlemania is my favorite though... it's the anti-wrestling game.  I wished they would have done more in that style actually... I thought the crazy special moves and mk-like controls were a good fit for the colorful characters of the WWF.
