Hi Ed haven't had a chance to look how many courses I have however I have an access all areas upgrade on my machine so there are about 25 or so that I can play. However my cousins machine has alot less so I would like to be able to unlock them for him.
I would like to unlock on my machine the extra players as I see tiger woods Arnold Palmer Adam scott etc in my players folder but they are not present in the game. Also all the items in game face would be great also.
Just waiting on instructions from you on how to do this.
Thanks in advance for all your help.

Hi Ed
This is a fresh reinstall with recovery disk with the new ATI video card installed, just added ATI drivers after reinstall so maybe nvidia drivers were not installed just a thought, the installer is there on start page but without a nvidia card installed don't think it will install the drivers.

hi
cvn53
ya without the nivdia seeing the card it will error out..
is the unit working with the ati ?
please chk for the dll's i have been on about
they have to be  in herc somewhere
or herc will not were to point for video drive

spitfire
it will be a batch file
so it will be perty straight foward
if your buddy's are missing courses
no fear as once u are setup as server they can snag them from your uint

hi
cvn53
i wish u would leave 1 card in or the other
so i can better point u
it is very hard to keep up with swap's
but i will dig them out.i was going to up-load the nessary dll's
this has now changded,i know u want to get to playing golf but
walk with me...

spitfire
it will be on an apchace tomcat server front end
this mean's nothing to u per-say,expect the fact it is super fast and secure
the .bat file u can open and expand on if u so want
i am just hardcoding it into hercule's as a .exe,but the control .bat can be edited on the fly,using notepad/or any txt-editor
this is what took the time
it is small enough it can up-load
get back to u in a byte
it is 1:am here and i just d/l all of netbean's
so i am tired

Hi Ed
Sorry about the swap but I thought I had to get the nvidia stuff activated some how, but I will go through your posts and try to work it out.In your post you keep talking about a herculestest.exe I don't see that is that the way to test game without the cabinet or is there a way.

hi
spitfire and cvn53
i am doing your's repecsted .exe's tonight
cvn53 your's is rather small
spitfire your's will need a full .txt
to make these yourself
do this
start/run
in run type iexpress
u can edit the file as i am leaving it open ended >ie not locked<
it is a cmd file >.exe< inside of hercule's
or rather add to the hercule's .dir
cvn53 have u made your final desion on a video card?
as it take's a byte to asamble the nessary dll's
spitfire,pm your ip
do this by doing this cmd
start/run/ipcfg
it should show u all your #'s
i DO NOT NEED YOUR MAC
if u can not pm >edwarddowney@hotmail.com<
as i will need this info
if u can edit that's even better
for u there is a few .exe's in .zip format
1=apache
1=ip setting's
1=the list of ppl whom can share with u
1=a firewall for snoop's
1=player card chk or min operater's card

this will a byte to finish but i should be on it all night
my box is now strapped to .net and waiting

hi
cvn53
if u have followed my ins.set on how to run window's on shadow mode
pga running,u would right click the mouse
and pull up all the dir's involved
now here is the problem as i c it
they list up as anark file's >this is how they hide them<
if u try to go to full list ie all file's it will not go there
i do believe this is why u are having 1 of your problem's
second as i pointed out the nivdia 6200 is a self installer
it is told to go to :window's: and not c:\pga,where nivdia driver's reside..
as hercule's will not look into program file's,as u are hoping it will
reason is simple pga is a shell ran in windows xp:e:
now if open like i have asked u
c:\pga >with game running< u will see all of the native .dir's
that run pga,if how ever u slave as i requested u can open and read any file in it
i will try to do u a control .dat that will repoint hercule's to c:\window's\program file's
this may or may not work ?,but it will take a byte longer to load

hi ed,
 i pulled the puter from the cabinet. plugged it in and it is still making the long beeps and wont load. i looked and the video card has no fan. there is a fan on the motherboard, 1 in the power supply, and 1 in the front of the tower. all three are working.

i also just replaced the cmos battery again with a new one and its still doing the same thing.

hi
dirt
long beeb's is usally cmos
count them
they will cycle
what u can do is replace the ddr as that will cause it
or the video card
something other then the harddrive is not allowing it past post
this is normaaly a low level cmos problem
the cdrom and harddrive are handled by a higher irq
the cmos should go
1=processer
2=sub processer
3=ram
4=video card
5=keyboard
6=mouse
if it passe's these test's
then it move's to harddrive/floppy/cdrom :which ever way u have them set: in the cmos

ok,i pulled out the ddr and put it back in, i dont have another stick that has the same notches in it. the puter came on and started the tests. it stopped and says:
cmos checksum error - defaults loaded
warning! cpu has been changed
please re- enter cpu settings in th cmos setup and remember to save before quit!

i wait to hear from you before i do anything i dont want to mess anything up, as you can probably tell im not a computer guy. i know just enough to make me dangerous. haha

hi
dirt
chk-sum error is a fairly good thing
plug in a key board
fire unit
hit delete >to get to cmos<
reset time/date
cdrom as 0 >first boot device<
harddrive as 1>as second boot device<
turn the floppy off >disable<
go to advanced and go to floppy seek and disable it
exit and save new setting's
reboot with keyboard/mouse/cdrom/hardrive hooked up
it should olny come up with setting's have changed accept these setting's
yes
game should load
if u read the pdf's i uploaded
u will see where they point to the dual usb card port
and they tell not to use the putter's own usb
but i find it confilcting at best
post me on how u make out

In the first PDF it says to set the BIOS. The 4th one, power management setup----power loss resume state----turn on.
I don't have power loss resume state in mine.

hi
dirt
your bios my list it as last known state
or such
it should be in either advanced and or power mag.
if u do not have it
no fear's,i can write a cmos auto boot routine for u
or u could see if there is a bios up-date on your board's mfg site
any way's a power switch is not so bad kinda yuck though
look deeper in advanceded as these board's are set to auto reboot
let me know the mfg and rev

I found
Pwr lost resume state in the integrated peripherals "folder". It is now set to "keep off". This is what I need to set to "turn on" right?
