video card with s-video?
« on: October 14, 2011, 03:26:15 pm »
Hi

Unfortunately today I found a video card does not work anymore.
Anyway I got a new graphics card with ATI's HDMI ports, VGA, DVI. PCI V2.0
I need a new video card with S-VIDEO port because the computer is connected to my TV. With the MAME
I realize this is a problem today to find video cards with S-VIDEO port because that generation is disappearing, because of the HDMI

Anyone know what adapter maybe? Or  a new V2.0 PCI video card with S-Video port? :-[

you are going to have to ebay yourself up a card with s-video. s-video is long gone. any adapter you will buy that can convert vga to s-video generally look like crap. even worse than they look to begin with.

if you really really want to try an adapter give this a shot: http://www.meritline.com/vga-to-tv-converter---p-40917.aspx?source=nextaghdac

i bought one off ebay for about 15 bucks (94 cents for the item and 14.99 shipping from china)to use my laptop videos with my vans dvd system. i looks okay i guess. i wasn't the one watch it though.  :dunno
