WG D9800 broken - need a new one (europe)
« on: October 11, 2011, 08:22:43 am »
Hi guys,

I have a really really big problem. The glas of my WG D9800 brake during the transport :banghead:. My cab is almost finished ( http://forum.arcadecontrols.com/index.php?topic=103058.0 ) and now I have to get a replacement monitor that is not built anymore :hissy:. It has to be a Monitor with the exact dimensions, because of the fact, that the cab is allready assembled.

I'm not sure if it is fixable. I guess the whole tube has to be changed. But it is nearly impossible to get one.

So I try it with this thread:

I'm looking for someone in Europe that wants to sell his WG D9800 or a working tube. Would be great to find one.

If not, are there other 27" crt multisync monitors with a max. resolution of 800x600 and a similar quality and dimensions that are still buyable?

regards,

get a tv from a junk shop of the same size and curvature and swap the yoke from the d9800 crt to the tv crt-make sure you check if you have a dual focus or single focus crt first
thats the cheapest way to do it
