Gears of War Lancers
« on: October 07, 2011, 08:17:23 am »
Hey guys,
as I'm sure some of you know there is a new Gears of War "Retro" lancer it actually went on sale last month for $100 on Gamestop now these things are selling over $250 on Ebay. The original Lancer, was sold when Gears 2 was released it's also going for about the same. I actually bought both of them and now I'm torn between selling them on Ebay as a set or keeping them. I really liked the game and actually have some Gears posters in my game room, but the money is really tempting. What do  you guys think? I have a projector and was planning on mounting a gun on each side in a display case. Any advice?

I would sell em, just cause I wouldnt have bought them in the first place.  :lol

I suppose it depends though, if youre a fan, and you have a game room to put em up in, then I would keep them. If they are the full size guns that would be pretty cool. Thats a thing where they look cool even if someone didnt know what they were. If you dont NEED the money, keep em. Its not like they are going to make any more, who knows, they could be worth more down the road.
Pictures are overrated anyway.

In 5 years, these will be worth nothing.  Dump them NOW.

Actually, after thinking about it, PBJ is right. Sell the things. Unless the chainsaw bayonet actually works, then keep em. Thats just cool.  ;)

I'm a fan of the games, but it is too much money for me. It will be cool to have one in a glass case hanging on the wall in a game room.
