Quiet Sound in Mame
« on: September 12, 2003, 07:07:18 pm »
I use MameWah (hell ya), ZSNESW, VirtuaNES and MAME32 and the sound for all but Mame32 sounds great when the speakers are at  a set volume.  Mame32 though, is very quiet in all the games I've got.

For my cab, going in and changing the speaker volume just for arcade games is annoying.

Am I missing a volume setting in Mame32?

You should be able to go to

OPTIONS - DEFAULT OPTIONS - SOUND

and adjust the volume attenuation slider.

I have the opposite proble and mame is louder than other games so I start it with a command line option
like.
mame -volume -12

                           good luck
