TV hack question

I've been running a 27" tv in my cab for a while and it only has svideo and composite connectors on it, and my video card has svideo so thats my connection. The video quality obviously isn't very good, so I was wondering if there is any way to improve the quality? Any way of hacking the tv's video board to get a better signal?  I know about the SCART connector but I live in the US and don't have that option

Only thing you can do is run RGB direct via hacking the board. Not recommended unless you know yer way around a TV repair wise.
