Some Games "Wavy" with ArcadeVGA
« on: August 27, 2011, 10:32:56 pm »
Hi,

Just got my ArcadeVGA set up on my Sanyo 20EZ - I matched all the settings mentioned in the documentation and I'm having a problem maybe someone can help me with.

The games are running in their native resolutions and they look great. But some games have a bit of a wave effect.. It seems like higher resolution games are fine, but games like DK, Q-Bert.. have the wave.

Also, when in windows it's nice and solid, no waves. I feel like there might be some setting or tweak I can use on these games.

If I uncheck "switch resolutions to fit" the problem goes away, but then it doesn't look as nice in non-native resolution mode.

Anybody got any ideas? I'm popping this thing in a custom dk cab I've been working on all summer and I'd really like it to look nice. I can post a vid if anyone really wants to see it.
