3 scrolling images?
« on: August 25, 2011, 04:58:49 am »
Hi my screen is split into 3 images (convergence?) and scrolling up (vhold?).
I am a total noob so I would appreciate some help if possible.
I have a Kortek K1-2-V0, connected to a jpac with a radeon 3200 and soft15Khz mod and res set to 640x480.
I have searched the web but I cant find a fix  :'(
Thanks

Hi I have tried power strip but still no good...I have added a screenshot if this helps.
I have spare neck boards for this monitor i may try as the one that is on it has been previously repaired, if that doesn't work I might dump the monitor and put an old TV in there.
Any help would be greatly appreciated...thanks.

oh yea also. if u put the jumpers on 31 and 15 Khz do u get a split screen that u can atleast make out what it is?
is your jpac hooked up to the keyboardplug or usb for power (depends what version u have)?
did this monitor work correctly with a original arcade board...?

It looks like a sync problem to me.  What H and V sync do you have connected?

Hi, I have no idea what H/sync or V/sync is converted sorry. I played with a h hold button and got a better image (attached) but the screen is still slit into 2.
Thanks

Well I finally have 1 image on the screen, I uninstalled soft 15khz (31khz) and just left the first option installed (15khz) it worked well! I now only need to adjust the blurriness and slight flicker, then I can map my controls and I will be a very happy youngish man!
Thank you Lostinarcade and BobA I really appreciate your help
