Color Matching and touchups with scale model paints.
« on: August 25, 2011, 03:31:06 am »
Has anyone touched up their cabs using scale model paints such as those from Humbrol, Tamiya or even Testers?

I was screwing around (as one does on the tubes) and came across http://www.paint4models.com/ which looks to be an astonishing resource. Especially since, in 1990, I was mixing my own paints to try and color match via trial and error. A process made unknowingly more difficult since I've discovered I'm partially color blind. No wonder I never won any scale model constests.  :banghead:

Clearly, it'd be awfully expensive to paint an entire cab, but I can see this being done to touch up existing cabs.
