I'm working on Mame MK arcade build from scratch. Other than the logistic and the full photoshop of the desing, here are some progress that I've made. It should be ready in about a month or so.

Here's a very crude and not really acurate plan of the sideart. But I think the logo and title will be in red and black only, I'll think about it... Scorpion will be included in the mix also.



Other than that, the control panel and the marquee will stay pretty much like the original.

Here's the woodwork up to this point. And BTW, there's no monitor stand yet. What you see there is a bezel/glass stand.





























Here's the power supply for fans and a bunch of LED's.  I'll use the 5V and 12V.














The sound system with a subwoofer, 350W total.










You see that I added two connectors. The black is a 5V for the coin door lights and the red is for the power button extention.






I'll be using a k7000 monitor. The tube is burnt a bit so I'll try to get another one. And the one besides it also has a problem... Dam it's hard to a get a good arcade monitor... At least a good tube is hard to find. I'm glad a chassis can be fixed...





I forgot to take a pic of the t-molding... I have a 3/4" red t-molding.

Lol i now notice the red for on off and black for power on the pc back. Dont mix that up

Does the stereo turn itself on when power comes on? Or how you gonna start everything with 1 push of the button?

Ok so I have a main power switch which will power everything except the pc. Next to it, I'll have the pc power button. The reason I don't want the pc to depend on the rest is because it makes it esier for tweaking thing (reboots and all) if the pc have its independent power source.

So when the pc is on, the coin door lights will turn on because they are connect on the 5V black connector. I though it would be a good use of the coin door lights.

And the red connector, if the circuit is closed, it will turn on the pc.

And for the stereo, well the easiest thing to do was just to glue the power button "on", hehe. So I put some glue directly on it and let it dry with an heavy weight on it. So if it's pluged in, it's on. Otherwise I would have to open it and solder the contacts and all, to long for me.

lol yeah... soon I'll play with it.

And I can't wait to play online with it. Any suggestions on the best way to play Mame online? I've heard Kaillera wasn't the best as far as speed goes...

Ho Kaillera is pretty good. But I think there is another one that is better... I did experiment some slowdowns but not too often.

I wonder how we could schedule the games though... I mean, with many people.

I uploaded this so you can just dl, unzip, change the rom folder directory to the one provided. Only some roms work. I included a couple of roms that I like and that work.

just tried out the online mame thingy, while i didn't play anyone i connected to some servers and seems pretty good if everyones connection is good.
